We’ve managed and organized several events since 2012 and we have done it at hundreds of venues and locations. For example, we’ve done an exclusive wedding at the Crooked Bush area in Hafford, Saskatchewan.
So, to help our fellow event organizers out there and everyone else who loves organizing and throwing events, here is our 2020 ranking of the top event settings here in Canada. We won’t be specific in terms of location.
Number 3: Community Environmental Centre
Have you ever been to a community environmental centre before? Well, it is not something new. It is mostly similar to most event venues within hotels and convention halls. The only difference is that these centres are more green-minded, meaning sustainable and eco-friendly.
First and foremost, these centres tend to have a lot of plants and even trees indoors. They also make use of the biophilia or biophilic interior design wherein the interior features of an enclosed area are mostly fresh flowers and plants.
One good example is the Evergreen Bricks Works in Toronto, Ontario. Check it out.
Number 2: Coastlines
Coastlines are also one of the most requested venues from hundreds of our clients, mostly for weddings. It might be a cliché idea but a coast or beach wedding during sunrise is always an amazing scene to witness.
There are a lot of beautiful coastlines here in Canada far from the cityscape. One of the most beautiful coastlines we’ve ever seen is the ones at Prince Edward Island. A stretch of green from one side and then a stretch of blue on the other.
Many people say that events at coastlines or beaches are expensive. Well, that is true and at the same time false. It depends on the location. Keep in mind that there are several coastlines and beaches here in Canada that are open to the public. That is where this job gets tricky, to find those hidden gems.
Number 1: Lakefront Venues
Throughout the years, we’ve seen event centres and restaurants position their businesses near the lake. Why? Because being a lakefront venue is a huge selling point these days. We’ve ranked this number 1 because, throughout the years, we’ve done so many lakefront weddings, birthdays, corporate retreats, and cocktail parties that we lost count.
We are unsure if the numbers are up to 200 or 300. But, one thing we are sure of, lakefront venues with lakefront entertainment and fine dining always hits the target. We are talking about events that generate joy and excitement for all.
So, this is our list for the top locations for different kinds of events here in Canada. So, if you are looking to organize an event soon, maybe we can give you a hand. Contact us today.
